I love what I do and am deeply honoured that other people seem to love it too. To honour that, and indeed my own perfectionist impulses I build my products to last, and to reflect how important it is to have a place that feels like home.

For me lighting and window décor is the intrinsic starting place to create a wonderful living space. (I begin window décor in the new year!) All other decoration really is the icing on the cake.

This is what I do. I aspire to make beautiful things. (Before this I was having fun making costume for circus perfomers! Before that transforming pubs for theme nights!)

This, however, is a new magic. Light, wood and fabric. Fantastic media to play with. Having started with a small fretsaw making toys for my youngest, my eldest requested a lamp for her bedroom. And that was that. Firesprite was born.
